Better than Microsoft Office

You might need Microsoft Office for many purposes, whether they be school, work, business, or personal use. Buying it is, however, extremely expensive. Obtaining a copy from a friend is not the best option either. Instead, try something called "OpenOffice.org", which simulates MS Office (Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excell, Access) better than you could expect.

Essentially Open Office is a free suite of software (applications) that has nearly all the features you can get from Microsoft Office. The benefit, though, is that it is entirely free, legal, easy to install, and most importantly: it works well with Microsoft Documents. If a friend emails you a .doc, you can instead open it with your new OpenOffice.org Writer. You can save it in a 'format' (.doc) that lets your friend see it still too if you change it. So try it, and enjoy your savings!
